Work accidents

On this site we have gathered information concerning work accidents and safety.

The work of NRCWE within the area of work accidents aims at developing, implementing and evaluating interventions and means directed at improving the safety of the company. The research includes, among other things, organisational and socio-cultural conditions in small and large companies and their surroundings which are of importance to the companies’ safety work. Furthermore, NRCWE conducts research within proactive safety work where prevention and safety becomes part of the company culture.

The research is focused within areas where there is a high risk of work accidents and it is conducted in cooperation with national and international research institutions, working environment councils and practicians with knowledge of specific trades.

The work accident area is part of the Government’s 2010 work environment programme.
