Psychological working environment

On this site we have gathered information concerning social work environment.

Stress, mobbing, and violence is one of the NRCWE’s strategic work environment areas. The research deals with areas such as stress, mobbing and violence which e.g. include mental health problems, decreased well-being, depression and mental attrition – consequences which can lead to sickness absence and premature retirement from the labour market. An important goal is to operationalise the elements of the concept “psychosocial work environment” and the interaction between working conditions, lifestyle and family life.

The NRCWE will continue developing practical tools to be used by companies and consultants, but also to develop and test practical company-based solutions. The psychosocial work environment is part of the Government’s 2010 work environment programme.

Please see the NRCWE questionnaire on psycho-social work environment.
