What if I want to remove Addthis cookies, only?

We use the social sharing service Addthis to make social sharing more manageable to ourselves and to users. Although the registered information is anonymous, data will be shared and possibly sold by Addthis to improve ad targeting on 3rd party websites.

Why do you inform on cookies?

Like in all EU member states, Danish web sites are obliged to inform on the use of cookies. In a Danish context, the relevant EU Directive has been implemented in: "Bekendtgørelse om krav til information og samtykke ved lagring af og adgang til oplysninger i slutbrugeres terminaludstyr" (in Danish only).

Traffic analysis

  • WT_FPC: This cookie is used to evaluate unique visits by Google Analytics. The cookie expires 10 years after your last visit.
  • __utma: This cookie is used to evaluate unique visits by Google Analytics. The cookie expires 2 years after your last visit.
  • __utmb: This cookie saves information on start and end times of your visits for use by Google Analytics.
  • __utmc: This cookie saves information on start and end times of your visits for use by Google Analytics.
  • __utmz: This cookie is used to save information on referring site for your visit. It is used by Google Analytics to improve analyses. The cookie expires 6 months after your last visit.

User session settings

  • ASP.NET_SessionId: When you arrive at the web site, a user session is initiated by the ASP.NET application(SiteCore CMS, the "motor" under the hood of the web site). The session (and the cookie) lasts until you leave the page.
  • website#lang: This cookie is used to maintain your choise of language version for the duration of your visit. The cookie expires as you leave the page.

Social sharing analysis

  • __atssc: This cookie is used by the social sharing service AddThis to ensure correct counting of shares to individual pages, until the cache of the service has updated.
  • __atuvc: This cookie is used by the social sharing service AddThis to ensure correct counting of shares to individual pages, until the cache of the service has updated.
  • dt: This cookie is used by the social sharing service AddThis to ensure determine if other cookies has expired. The cookie itself expires after one month.
  • loc: This cookie is used by the social sharing service AddThis to ensure determine your approximate (state/nation) location during your visits. The cookie expires after 2 years.
  • uid: This cookie is used by the social sharing service AddThis to save a unique, but anonymous, machine generated ID for you as a user. The cookie expires after 2 years.
  • uvc: This cookie is used by the social sharing service AddThis to count how often we see AddThis ud´sers on the website. The cookie expires after 2 years.
