My scientific background is in psycho-biology with special focus on various biological measures. This covers establishment of a number of methods and testing in the psychophysiology laboratory at the National Research Centre for The working Environment (NFA). I have been the key person in establishing the psycho-physiological research at NFA. The work has been carried out through several scientific projects with international and national collaboration. I have as the project leader for NFA activities been involved in designing both epidemiological studies and experimental studies, where the psycho-physiological methods have been tested with psychosocial factors at work.
