The aim of this project is to investigate how the
psychosocial work environment, psychological health, sickness absence and
disability pensioning are related to each other. We are especially
interested to study whether and to what extend
the psychosocial work environment affects risk of reduced psychological
health (including both common mental disorders, such as depression, and
anxiety, but also symptoms of reduced psychological functioning and
well-being, such as fatigue and burnout)
reduced psychological health increase risk of long-term sickness
absence and disability pensioning
psychosocial work environment and reduced psychological health moderate
each other's effect on risk of sickness absence and disability
pensioning
the effect of the work environment on sickness absence and disability
pension is mediated by reduced psychological health
